On 26.-30. May 2010 golf course Gray Bear in Tále welcomed the best professional golf players not only in Europe, but also worldwide. Top European and World players strived to win the historically first professional golf tournament in Slovakia with the title Allianz Ladies Slovak Open 2010. This tournament won young Spanish player Maria Hernandez, who best managed to overcome the traps of this difficult golf course as well as weather and left behid such top world players as Laura Davies (ENG), Helen Alfredsson (SWE), Melissa Reid (ENG), Gwladys Nocera (FRA) or LInda Wessberg (SWE). Zuzana Kamasová achieved great score, when she ranked 30 among such strong competitors.

Women golf gains more and more popularity which is supported by the interest of media and TV stations, when the showed tournament had higher watching rate than 155 mil. worldwide and the news from tournament achieved a watching rate of 1,1 billions households.

After successful tournament in 2010, which confirms the feedback from participated players from 25 countried in the world as well as organisers from Ladies European tour, this year the tournament continues with 2nd year again on Tále.

The Allianz Ladies Slovak Open 2011 will be held on 26.-29. May 2011 and will see 126 players compete over four rounds of stroke play for a purse of €350,000, with a first prize of €52,500.
